It seems that Cantiere Navale Carlini were favoured by Olin and Rod Stephens for the build of S&S designs for their clients from the 1950s through 1970s, and although MIETTE has an S&S design plaque fitted in her cockpit – with no official design number – it would be incorrect to attribute her lines to the famous New York design house. MIETTE has that look and sailing qualities along with fine Carlini pedigree, nonetheless, which has meant her current owner has kept her for more than 50 years now… She is a Mediterranean darling who has been loved and sailed consistently each season - proving absolutely fit for purpose - and improving the view in so many beautiful anchorages through so many summers! One might ask – how many modern yachts will be kept by one owner for 50 years?
